Public invited to share ideas during an informational meeting regarding Wallace State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. - In an effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting Saturday, Sept.19, at Wallace State Park near Cameron. The meeting will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the open shelter house, and the public is invited.
Discussion will center on the general operations of the park, including the campground reservation system and group reservations. Park staff will provide information about recent accomplishments at the park including newly installed signs leading to and throughout the park to assist and direct park visitors. Staff will be available to answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations.
Wallace State Park is located six miles south of Cameron. Take Highway 69 South, which is exit 48 off Interstate 35, to Highway 121.
