JEFFERSON CITY, MO., – Take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore beyond the normal tour of Fisher Cave at Meramec State Park near Sullivan. Two Fisher Cave Wilderness Tours will be held on Saturday, June 27 and July 11. Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, these special wild cave tours will begin at 10 a.m. and last until approximately 2 p.m.
This adventurous spelunking trip will consist of semi-strenuous crawling and walking through clay-filled passages. Participants must be at least 11 years old and come equipped with a hard hat and three independent sources of light. A parent or guardian must accompany individuals under the age of 18. Admission for the tours is $6 for adults, $5 for ages 13 to 19 and $4 for ages 11 and 12.
Space is limited on both tours and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can reserve your spot on one of the trips before the event by calling Erik Otto at 573-468-8155.
