Public invited to share ideas during an informational meeting regarding Prairie State Park June 25

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., JUNE 23, 2009 -- In an effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services provided in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Thursday, June 25, at Prairie State Park near Liberal.  The meeting will be begin at 7 p.m. in the park's visitor center and is open to the public.

Meeting highlights will include recent accomplishments, such as the renovated picnic area, and future plans at the park.  Visitors are invited to share comments on the park's services and operations.

Prairie State Park is located 17 miles west of Lamar on Highway 160 to State Road NN.
