JEFFERSON CITY, MO, -- Gov. Jay Nixon announces the village of South Greenfield in Dade County has been awarded a $91,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.  The village will use these funds to construct a new water storage tank and replace some distribution mains.

The grant funds come from a $50 million bond sale in November of 2007, which funded Clean Water Initiative for water and wastewater improvements.  The funds will be used in conjunction with a 50 percent match from the village.  The project is estimated to cost $660,000 and is expected to be completed in 2009.
