Historic Preservation Council to consider nominations for National Register Nov. 15


JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 1, 2019 – The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will consider nominations to the National Register of Historic Places during its meeting at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15 in the Bennett Springs Conference Room at the Department of Natural Resources Conference Center, located at 1730 E. Elm St., Jefferson City.
The following nominations will be considered for National Register listing:

Trinity Lutheran Church Historic District, 13007-13013 Route C, Russellville, Cole County
Adams, Charles Francis Jr., Building, 1311-1315 W. 13th St., Kansas City, Jackson County
Kansas City Armory, 3620 Main St., Kansas City, Jackson County
United Railways Spring Avenue Substation and Trouble Station, 2423 N. Spring Ave., St. Louis [Independent City]
Standard Stamping Company Factory, 2000 N. Broadway, St. Louis [Independent City]
Alley Springs State Park Historic District, MO-106 at the Jacks Fork River, Eminence vicinity, Shannon County, for consultation purposes

The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is a group of historians, architects, archaeologists and citizens with an interest in historic preservation. The council is appointed by the governor and works with the Department of Natural Resources' State Historic Preservation Office, which administers the National Register of Historic Places program for Missouri. The council meets periodically to review Missouri property nominations to the National Register, the nation's honor roll of historic properties. Approved nominations are forwarded to the Keeper of the National Register in Washington, D.C., for final approval.
