Reptiles and amphibians on display at Hug a Herp Day at Prairie State Park June 20

Prairie State Park near Mindenmines will host Hug a Herp Day on Saturday, June 20, allowing guests to see and touch various reptiles and amphibians. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event will run from 10 a.m.-3p.m.

Participants will see various reptiles and amphibians such as snakes, turtles, frogs, toads and salamanders. Visitors will also be able to make an amphibian or reptile craft as a part of the event.
