Arrow Rock State Historic Site hosts First Saturday Lecture May 4

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 25, 2019 – The Missouri Historical Society’s president and CEO, Dr. Frances Levine, will present “Women of the Santa Fe Trail” at Arrow Rock State Historic Site at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 4. The lecture will discuss the important but often overlooked role of women traveling the Santa Fe Trail. By reviewing the past, we gain insights into the current and future plight of the land we all share, love and depend upon. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Arrow Rock State Historic Site is located north of Interstate 70 and west of Columbia at 39521 Visitor Center Drive, in Arrow Rock. For more information about the event, call the site at 660-837-3330.
