Felix Valle State Historic Site hosts basket weaving class July 20

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 27, 2019 – Instructor Delecia Huitt will share her knowledge and skills to teach participants how to make a colonial summer market basket at the Creole House, at Felix Valle State Historic Site, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 20. This medium size rectangular basket is perfect to take to the farmers market to hold your purchases.

Class size limited to 15 people and there is a $40 fee for materials. The deadline for sign-up is July 15.

Felix Valle State Historic Site is located at the corner of Second and Merchant streets in Ste. Genevieve.  For more information about the event and to register, please call the historic site at 573-883-7102.
