Land Records Repository

The development of a central repository for all land survey documents began in the early 1970's. The repository now contains approximately two million documents in microfilm form. Land Survey documents play an extremely important part in the determination of land boundaries. Private land surveyors, title insurers, recorders, attorneys, real estate professionals, and landowners must rely on these documents. Land survey documents from the repository are provided to the public in ever increasing numbers. We strive to fill all requests for information within three days.  However, requests that require a significant amount of research could take up to two weeks to complete.
