Throughout the Missouri Geological Survey’s 160 year history, many geologic maps have been produced and related data collected. It is the desire of the Survey to provide information in this 21st century format to make it accessible to citizens, city planners, industry representatives, academia and others 24/7. GeoSTRAT can be used for data assessments in various disciplines such as hazards assessment, environmental consulting and engineering, local and regional planning, insurance assessment and others.
