Travelers encouraged to visit Marston Welcome Center located at southbound Interstate 55 mile marker 42.4
The Missouri Department of Transportation held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, May 24, 2011 to celebrate the completion of the Marston Welcome Center. Geological Survey Program director Jerry Prewett and other invited guests spoke during the ribbon cutting ceremony. The center highlights the great New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-12 and the region's rich history.
