Vehicle Emissions Testing in the St. Louis Region
Having trouble finding a station doing emissions testing near you?
Please call your local station or the Missouri Department of Natural Resources before you go. Some stations are experiencing temporary problems with their emissions inspections. We are working to get this fixed as soon as possible.
The Gateway Vehicle Inspection Program (GVIP) improves air quality in the St. Louis region. GVIP is an emissions testing program for vehicles registered in the St. Louis ozone nonattainment area, which includes St. Louis City, Franklin County, Jefferson County, St. Charles County and St. Louis County.
Inspector/mechanic training will take place from 5-9 p.m. on June 28, 2017, and July 12, 2017, at Ranken Technical College, 4431 Finney Ave. in St. Louis. The class will be in Room G108-109 of the Grey Building. Look for signs on campus on the day of training.
The class is limited to 50 students, and the June 28th class is full. There is no cost.
