The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, accepted a permit-in-lieu of a Total Maximum Daily Load, or PIL, for Elkhorn Creek, WBID 0189, Montgomery County. 

303(d)-listed pollutants:

• Biochemical oxygen demand.
• Non-volatile suspended solids.

To address the listed pollutants, permit limits were adjusted for:

• Biochemical oxygen demand.
• Total suspended solids.
• Ammonia.
