The department is offering technical sessions regarding the analysis and evaluation of water quality impacts from construction of new wastewater treatment facilities and modifications of existing wastewater treatment facilities.

As of Aug. 30, 2008, a facility is now required to use the May 7, 2008 Missouri’s Antidegradation Rule And Implementation Procedure.
This half-day workshops will cover the following topics:
- Antidegradation Overview with an Example Project.
- Antidegradation Applicability and Alternatives Analysis.
- Effluent Limits and Water Quality Review Assistance.
- Antidegradation - Storm Water and General Permit Approaches.
Suggested audience: Consultants, planners, wastewater managers, public works directors and anyone involved in the wastewater treatment industry.

Note: Three professional development hours for professional engineers and four renewal hours for wastewater certified operators are available for this training. If you need a certificate, please request one when registering. Separate sign-in sheets will be available at the training.
