Since the onset of the AgNPS SALT program, there have been nine calls for projects, with 100 projects approved throughout the state. Currently, there are 65 remaining active AgNPS SALT projects. Projects focus on decreasing agricultural nonpoint source pollution and encompass watersheds averaging 50,000 acres in size as portrayed in the map of AgNPS SALT projects. For more details on the projects, a brief description of each project (by call) is listed below.

The governor signed House Bill 250 on June 26, 2009, which allows water quality best management practices that have been so successfully implemented in the AgNPS SALT program to become available statewide. There will not be any further calls for the AgNPS SALT program. The final projects will end in 2015.
