Penalty Policy
Last updated May 3, 2017
The goal of enforcement is to return a company to compliance in a timely fashion and discourage future noncompliance after all other attempts at compliance have failed. The Hazardous Waste Program's Compliance and Enforcement Section uses standardized policies to evaluate non-compliance situations. These policies ensure that all companies are treated in a fair, equitable manner.
