This is a list of e-cycling businesses that recycle or refurbish electronic equipment in Missouri. The list below contains only Missouri businesses that have registered with the department's Voluntary Tiered Registration Program. This list is not intended as an endorsement, certification, or warranty to any company or product by or from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

When a Missouri e-cycling business registers with the department, they choose to register at one of four levels. As the tier levels increase, so do the amount of guidelines the business needs to follow. We indicate the businesses registration level by the number of green plug next to its name. This will help you choose a recycler at the registration level that best meets your needs.

  • Level 1 - This business agreed to recycle as much of their demanufactured electronic material as possible. The business will complete a yearly Host Site Self-Audit and the department will make it available in the table below.
  • Level 2 - This business met all Level 1 requirements and adopted the Missouri e-cycle Standards’, or MOEST, Best Management Practices as its standard operating procedures. The department also reviewed and approved the businesses Basic Closure Plan, which will be followed when they choose to no longer demanufacture electronics.
  • Level 3 - This business met all Level 1 and 2 requirements and demonstrated financial responsibility for closing cost. They do this by entering into a legal contract with another registered e-cycling business or an environmental company to properly close the facility or by showing that they have resources set aside to pay for closure costs, even if they declare bankruptcy.
  • Level 4 - This business met all Level 1, 2 and 3 requirements and had their Environmental Management System certified by a third party organization.

To learn more about the department's Voluntary Tiered Registration Program, or to register your Missouri e-cycling business, please visit e-cycle Missouri and click on Register Your E-Business. If you have any questions about this list or the Voluntary Tiered Registration Program, please contact Tony Pierce at the Missouri Department of Natural Resource, Hazardous Waste Program, P.O. Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0176. You can also reach Mr. Pierce by telephone at 573-751-7560 or 800-361-4827, or by email.

If you would prefer, or if there is not a facility listed in your area, you can also participate in a collection event hosted by your city, county or solid waste management district. For more information, call the department's Solid Waste Program at 800-361-4827 or visit e-cycle Missouri.
