Leanne Tippett Mosby has been with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources since 1994, beginning her career with the department in the Air Pollution Control Program working in enforcement and permitting. She has served various roles including legislative liaison, program director, deputy division director, deputy department director and is currently the director of the department’s Division of Environmental Quality.  In these various roles, she has worked on many diverse issues across a broad spectrum of environmental media areas including water quality, air quality, waste management, land reclamation, lead legacy issues and Missouri River.  Her current position has responsibilities encompassing all of the environmental media programs (Air Pollution Control, Water Protection, Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste and Land Reclamation), the five regional offices (St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Macon and Poplar Bluff) and the Environmental Services Program.
