Air Program Mission
Our mission is to maintain the purity of Missouri's air to protect the health, general welfare and property of the people. The Air Pollution Control Program has 5.2 million "customers." Whether an urban citizen or someone far removed from other people, everyone who lives in Missouri needs and deserves clean air.
What is the CAIR/CAMR?
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Air Pollution Control Program is forming a workgroup to respond to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR) and Clean Air Mercury Rule (CAMR). The department is interested in receiving stakeholder input into the development of the state regulations and state implementation plans that are necessary to respond to CAIR and CAMR.
