Renewable Energy Survey

The Division of Energy is conducting a survey of Missourians who use or produce solar, wind and biomass energy in the state. It is designed to learn and share with all Missourians what our state is doing in the field of renewable energy. We would very much appreciate your response to this voluntary survey.

The Division of Energy is a non-regulatory state office within the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Our mission includes encouraging the cost-effective use of Missouri’s renewable energy sources.

Information gathered in the survey will help achieve the following objectives:

• The survey will enable the Division of Energy to develop and disseminate reliable statistics on the production and use of renewable energy in Missouri.
• The survey will provide technical and market information that will strengthen efforts by the Division of Energy and other organizations to provide technical assistance to firms and individuals producing or using renewable energy in Missouri.
• The survey will provide contact information that can be used to refer prospective users or producers of renewable energy to peers who have expressed their willingness to share information from their own experience with solar, wind and biomass energy.

As explained in the Survey Instructions, you may request that any information you provide in response to this survey be withheld from public disclosure. All respondents are asked to complete Part 1 - General and Contact Information. Only complete the applicable section(s) of Part 2 and return to us by mail to Division of Energy, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, P. O. Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102.
