Earth Day 2012 Slogan Contest

If you are a fifth-grade student in Missouri you can enter a slogan in the Earth Day Slogan Contest. The winning slogan will be the theme for Earth Day 2012 activities at the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City. The theme for the slogan contest is "Get Out and Play in Your Missouri State Parks!" The person who submits the winning entry will be honored during the Earth Day celebration on April 20, 2012. The winner also will receive a $50 gift card, donated by Central Bank in Jefferson City.
The contest is open to all Missouri fifth-graders. No purchase is necessary. The deadline for entry is Feb. 29, 2012. The winner will be announced in February. The winner's name also will be posted on the department's Earth Day pages on the Web.
